MVFCU Hires AVP Business Lending

October 18, 2005...The Merrimack Valley Federal Credit Union is preparing to launch its small business product line by hiring Mr. Robert (Bob) Murphy as its AVP of Business Lending. MVFCU has been serving members in the Merrimack Valley for over 50 years and currently provides financial services to more than 42,000 members.

Bob joins the credit union with 28 years of banking experience and more than 21 years in commercial lending. His career has focused on serving the business owners' financial needs here in the Merrimack Valley, beginning with the Arlington Trust Company, followed by First Essex Bank, and Enterprise Bank.

Mr. Alan Jenne, Vice President of Lending states "MVFCU has been researching the requirements for business lending for quite some time.
