MVFCU Introduces New Mortgage Officer

Charles (Charlie) Galligan has joined the Merrimack Valley Federal Credit Union as Mortgage Officer.

Charlie has been an account executive for some “very large mortgage companies where he developed relationships, marketed mortgage and equity loan products. He has a wide range of product experience and training and development,” said Christine Whittaker, AVP Mortgage Lending.

Mr. Galligan has a BS from Springfield College and an MBA from Suffolk University. He has been an account executive in the Mortgage Industry over the past ten years in all of New England.

Charlie says that he chose to work here because he likes the credit union philosophy and our mission of serving one member at a time. “It’s that personal service that makes the difference over any large banking institution, making it a win/win situation for the credit union and the members,” said Charlie.

Charlie lives in Boxford, MA with his wife Denise and two children: Tim, 16 years old and Julianna who is 14.
