Merrimack Valley Federal Credit Union’s Annual Charity Golf Tournament Raises $21,000

The Merrimack Valley Federal Credit Union’s Annual Charity Golf Tournament was held on June 14th at the Atkinson Resort & Country Club in Atkinson, New Hampshire.

On a beautiful summer day, golfers enjoyed great food, contests, prizes, and an exciting silent auction. With this event, Merrimack Valley was able to raise $21,000 for its two official charities: the Merrimack Valley YMCA and Emmaus, Inc. in Haverhill.

President and CEO Peter Matthews commented, “The Merrimack Valley is very fortunate to have these two organizations serving those who need it most, and we are proud to be part of their efforts. From daycare and after school programs to basic housing and job training programs, the Y and Emmaus are vital to our communities.”

Every year, Merrimack Valley Federal Credit Union raises funds through ongoing charitable efforts and events with employees and members. In the near future, the Credit Union will be hosting their third Annual Flea Market for Charity on September 11th and a drawing for a big screen TV this fall.
